HANDEL IN ROME CHORAL PROGRAM
Experience the musical journey of a lifetime with Handel in Rome, an extraordinary international choral tour that invites passionate singers to perform in some of the Eternal City’s most historic and inspiring sacred spaces. Presented by the New Voice Festival and featuring the acclaimed Chamber Orchestra of Rome, this unforgettable artistic residency offers the rare opportunity to sing where Handel himself once brought his music to life—Santa Maria in Monticello—as well as the majestic churches of Piazza Euclide and Santa Croce in Flaminio. Under the dynamic leadership of Maestro Jason Tramm, participating singers will explore the beauty, drama, and spiritual power of Handel’s masterworks written during his time in Rome, including the majestic Dixit Dominus. You will also have the opportunity to sing on a special filmed recording of Handel’s operatic masterpiece, Giulio Cesare, creating a lasting artistic legacy. Join a community of dedicated vocalists, immerse yourself in Roman culture, and bring Handel’s music to life in the city that first inspired it.
